Mike came out of retirement in September 2026 for a great opportunity to join one of the top insurance agencies in the country, RWR WV Insurance, as a Commercial Lines Account and Risk manager in Virginia. He has had his Property & Casualty License for a total of 18 years in his career.
Mike has had a been very successful in his career in sales and management in both insurance and advertising since graduating high school and briefly attending college in the early seventies. After many years as a Regional Sales Manager with Yellow Book USA and DataNational, he tried the insurance industry. During his insurance career he has owned an insurance agency for 10 years, run an insurance agency for a bank and been affiliated with two insurance agencies in the Northern Virginia area. He plans to put his business experience of 55 years to use with RWR WV.
Mike resides in the Shenandoah Valley with his wife, Millette. He has 7 children and 11 grandchildren. He also served as a Pastor of a church in Luray, Virginia which gave him a great opportunity to give back to his community. He still likes spending what little spare time he has left enjoying life and traveling.
