Friendly and ready to help.
Joel was born and raised in north central West Virginia and graduated from North Marion High School in 1995. He attended West Virginia University and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and his master’s degree in Industrial Relations. While in Morgantown he also met his future wife, Kristen, of Berkley Springs, WV and followed her back to the Eastern Panhandle where they have lived since 2000. Joel and Kristen now have two beautiful teenage daughters, Sydney and Jenna. Before joining the RWR team, Joel was the Executive Director of Senior Life Services of Morgan County, Inc. in Berkeley Springs for 15 years. In 2014 he was elected as one of the County Commissioners for Morgan County and currently serves in that capacity.
When he’s not attending a sporting event for one of his daughters or enjoying the great outdoors with his friends and family, you can find Joel volunteering his time with the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle, the Morgan County Parks and Rec board or numerous other boards and organizations. As part of the original team for RWR WV in Berkeley Springs, he is eager to use his life experience and concern for others to promote the business.
